Site-visit fee: US$160 or the JMD equivalent. The fee is paid in advance, your appointment is confirmed after payment, and the fee is applied toward the project cost.

Are kitchens priced by the running foot?
No. Custom kitchens are not priced by the running foot. Pricing is based on the design, materials, finishes, hardware and accessories required for your individual project.
What material is used to make the cabinets?
The cabinets are made from MDP, which means Medium-Density Particleboard. This is a durable engineered wood product and is not bagasse board. The MDP used is termite- and water-resistant and is available in ⅝-inch and ¾-inch thicknesses, depending on availability and the project’s requirements.
Is MDP waterproof?
MDP is water-resistant, but it is not completely waterproof. Spills should be wiped up promptly, and plumbing leaks should be repaired immediately to prevent prolonged water exposure.
What colours and finishes are available?
A variety of laminated woodgrain and solid-colour finishes is available, including white, oak tones, walnut, maple, mist, pearl, graphite, mocha and other selections. Custom spray finishes are also available in satin, gloss or matte. Satin is the most popular option. Availability, additional costs and minimum-order requirements may apply to special colours.
Do the cabinets have soft-closing hardware?
Yes. All cabinet hinges and drawer slides are soft-closing. Customers may also choose from standard handles, embedded SpaceMax handles and a selection of functional cabinet accessories.
Are countertops available?
Yes. GWP Tile Gallery supplies and installs granite, quartz and sintered stone countertops. Your preferred material can be incorporated into the overall kitchen design, with pricing based on the selected material, measurements and installation requirements.
Can the design be customized?
Yes. Your kitchen is designed according to your available space, storage needs, preferred appearance and budget. Layouts and concepts are developed and revised until the final design is approved.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 60% deposit is required after the quotation and design have been approved. Production begins once the deposit has been received.
How long will my kitchen take?
The standard timeline is approximately six to eight weeks from receipt of the deposit to installation. The actual timeline may vary depending on the design, materials, finishes, project complexity and product availability.
Is installation included?
Installation is provided as part of the custom kitchen process. The scope and cost of the installation will be outlined in your quotation.
What is not included in the custom kitchen service?
Plumbing, electrical work, appliance installation, demolition and removal of existing cabinets are not included as part of the custom kitchen service.
