Greenwood Plaza and the Greenwood Citizens Association were honored to be part of this significant event. Our Managing Director, who also serves as the President of the Greenwood Citizens Association, had the privilege of presenting a token of appreciation to Prime Minister Holness on behalf of both organizations. This gesture symbolized our commitment to community development and our support for initiatives that enhance the quality of life in St. James.
The Barrett Hall Housing Development is more than just a residential project; it’s a step toward sustainable living. The infrastructure includes well-designed roads, sidewalks, potable water, stormwater drainage, a centralized sewerage treatment plant, and street lighting. During his remarks, Prime Minister Holness encouraged developers to incorporate features such as jogging trails and playgrounds, emphasizing the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles in residential design. Prime Minister Holness stated, “We must build today not just for shelter but for health. It is essential to create environments where people can thrive, not just survive.”
We at Greenwood Plaza and the Greenwood Citizens Association are proud to support this vision. Our presence at the Barrett Hall Groundbreaking Ceremony reflects our ongoing dedication to sustainable growth and meaningful community partnerships.
